Its very very odd. We have created a package and then deploy to machines. It will run on the target PC but then fail with a exit code of "1603 Fatal error during installation." Nothing beyond this is listed to give a clue to why it failed. Out of nearly 400 pc's this went to, if failed on 88% of them . Only 30 took it successfully. We ran it as Per Sys unattended; Minimized, No Action Required, with command line:
This is driving us insane. The completely lack of any documentation online, or on Lotus's website is unbelievable. At a bare minimum, caveats, things too look out for, ways it will fail or work, etc, etc.......
Brent: As for your issue of not being able to scan registry, this sounds like classic issue of either your package no running with Admin rights in the package, or the Package Access Account does not have 'Full Control.' Also, this can arise if SMS cannot access the registry because SMS cannot get into the admin share on the client.
